About Me

Hi I'm Mel, I am based in the amazing city of Bristol. I love indoor and outdoor fitness and movement in all forms from strength training to going for a run or a pilates session.

Qualifications

I am a Level 4 qualified Personal Trainer and hold a MSc degree. I am fully insured and a member of CIMSPA, REPS & UK Coaching. I am also a qualified GP Exercise Referral Practitioner, have CPD training in suspension training, bodyweight exercises and Kettlebells. I have up-to-date first aid training.

Movement is a skill

I specialise in developing tailor-made holistic strength training programmes to promote long-term positive physical and mental well-being. This includes giving my clients the skills to achieve correct technique and form for exercise and everyday tasks and activities.

 

Why train with me

My first hand experience of overcoming a physical health condition (I have a congenital back problem) and my academic knowledge of health and fitness inform the design of my well-rounded, science-based fitness programmes for my clients.

 

For me workouts should be enjoyable, varied, challenging and achievable. I have my own private fitness studio which is equipped with a wide range of exercise equipment to help you achieve your fitness goals in a safe, friendly, clean and private space.

I include all the key components of health and fitness from skills-related activities to improving mental and physical strength, stability, mobility, flexibility as well as cardio strength and endurance.

Remote Sessions

I offer 1-2-1 remote personal training.

Sessions are tailored-made to meet your fitness needs and goals.

You will receive homework, an online planner and nutritional advice.
